On July 26th, Linda Yohn will feature big band sessions from the late 1940s and early ’50s by Dizzy Gillespie, Billy Eckstine, Duke Ellington, Stan Kenton, and others. You’ll hear touching new music from singers Marcus Goldhaber, Kay Kostopoulos, and Cecile McLorin Salvant. Linda will also celebrate the July 31st birthdays of Michigan jazz greats Hank Jones and Kenny Burrell. 90.9 WRCJ swings Sundays at 7pm with the “Swing Set”.
