For the first time ever, Detroit Opera’s Resident Artists will perform individualized material created especially for Cabaret 313 audiences. Under the guidance of internationally renowned opera coach and pianist Nathalie Doucet, Detroit Opera’s Head of Music, the Resident Artist Program provides tailored study and mentorship to nurture each performer’s unique artistry. Ranked among the nation’s top training programs, the initiative serves as a vital launching pad for young singers, preparing them to thrive in the highly competitive opera industry.
This groundbreaking collaboration highlights Cabaret 313’s mission to showcase both legendary performers and the rising stars of tomorrow, enriching Detroit’s cultural landscape with intimate performances that celebrate artistry and storytelling. With support from Detroit PBS, Cabaret 313 continues to expand access to world-class performances, ensuring Detroit audiences remain at the center of the performing arts.
