The Ferndale Community Concert Band is proud to present its annual summer outdoor concert, Summer Sounds. Join us outside at Martin Road Park on Sunday, June 23 at 3:00 PM for a concert of summer themed band music. Highlights include “Glenn Miller in Concert,” “Somewhere” and “Mambo” from “West Side Story” by Leonard Bernstein, the traditional Scottish folk song, “Loch Lomond”, “Pirates of the Caribbean” from the films of the same name by Klaus Badelt, and “The Best of Miami Sound Machine.” Bring a lawn chair or a blanket and enjoy the Sounds of the Summer.
The FCCB will also perform the same program for the Music On Belle Isle Group (MOBIG) at Sunset Point, Belle Isle, Detroit. Concert is Wednesday, June 19 at 7:00 PM.
