E. Warrenfest returns for its fourth annual celebration on Saturday, September 19, 2026,
bringing East Warren Avenue to life from noon to 9 p.m. Presented by the E. Warren Development
Corp. (EWDC) and D.Cipher, this free community festival brings thousands of residents, families, and
visitors together to celebrate the ongoing revitalization of Detroit’s East Warren corridor.
Attendees of all ages can experience a vibrant lineup of neighborhood culture and entertainment,
featuring:
●Three stages of live music, plus a dedicated gospel showcase outside the historic Alger Theater
from noon to 4 p.m.
●A brand-new outdoor roller-skating rink and a special community activation hosted by the
Detroit Pistons from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
●Grand Trolley Tours highlighting new neighborhood restaurants, local small businesses, and
ongoing development projects.
●Family activities in the Kids Zone, local food trucks, neighborhood restaurant pop-ups, and
adult beverage offerings.
●Direct access to small-business development, mental health, and community wellness resources
from noon to 4 p.m.
“E. Warrenfest is more than a celebration,” says EWDC executive director Joe Rashid. “It’s a reflection of the people, businesses, and organizations continuing to invest in the future of the corridor.”
