Troy Metro Symphony Orchestra Spring Community Concert in Sterling Heights

Under the baton of guest conductor Travis Cook and special guest composer/arranger Tim Parsons, the Troy Metro Symphony Orchestra is pleased to present a spring concert at Rockpointe Community Church (38100 Utica Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48312) on March 24th at 7:00 PM. The repertoire will reflect our spring theme: “Awake! Anthems of New Life.”
Concert selections include:
Church Festival Overture – Otto Nicolai;
Sleepers, Awake – J.S. Bach;
I Shall Know Him, hymn;
It is Well With My Soul, hymn – arr. Parsons;
2 Songs without Words – Gustav Holst;
Procession of the Nobles – Rimsky-Korsakov;
On Hearing the First Cuckoo in Spring – Frederick Delius; and
Dvořák Symphony No. 8, Allegro con brio.
