Minnesota Boychoir Performance

2023—This summer, the Twin Cities-based Minnesota
Boychoir hits the road for its 37th annual summer tour. The Minnesota Boychoir, the oldest
in Minnesota, is considered one of the finest traditional boy choirs in the country. Its four
ensembles — Allegro, Cantabile, Cantando, and Cantar— are known for their excellent
musical offerings, as well as the positive impact participation in the choir has on the lives of
its members.
Each year, the Minnesota Boychoir embarks upon an international or domestic
performance tour, singing everywhere from St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome, Montserrat Abbey
in Nice and the Sydney Opera House to Winnipeg, Kansas City, and the American
Southwest. This year, 52 boys from the Cantabile and Allegro ensembles will hit the road
from June 16 – 23 to perform across Michigan— including concerts in Detroit, Farmington
Hills, Grand Rapids, Lansing, and Iron Mountain.
