The Metropolitan Detroit Chorale and Orchestra, under the direction of Pasquale Pascaretti, will present John Rutter’s Mass of the Children on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. at Hope Community Baptist Church, 42259 Hayes Rd., Sterling Heights, MI 48313. The Chorale will be joined by The Metropolitan Detroit Youth Choir, comprised of students from Fraser High School, The International Academy of Macomb, and the Iris Music Academy. The program will also include Rutter’s Five Meditations for Orchestra and will feature selections for Chinese Erhu by special guest artist, Xiao Dong Wei, accompanied by Jacklyn Cole.
