The Windsor Symphony Orchestra
German composer, Johannes Brahms is considered a leading composer of the romantic period. His Symphony No. 2 is warm, generous of spirit, and full of more beautiful melodies than almost any other 19th century symphony. We happily welcome back to the Capitol Theatre stage Jarrett McCourt performing French-Canadian composer, Nicole Lizee’s, daring and innovative new Tuba Concerto. Called “a brilliant musical scientist” by the CBC, Nicole’s concerto will open your ears to what a tuba can do.
Robert Franz, conductor
