In 2017, the Detroit Repertory Theatre started the Summer Arts and Culture Festival, a party in our parking lot under a big festival tent with music, readings, poetry, dance, and of course, a sneak peek of the plays in the upcoming season. In 2023, we transformed the party into a Season Launch and Homecoming Celebration. We invite Rep artists of the past, present, and future to join us for to celebrate the beauty and power of live theatre that demonstrates diversity acting in unity. The Season 70 Launch continues the tradition of sneak peeks of the shows in the upcoming season, live music, and good times.
