The Livonia Youth Symphony has operated in southeastern Michigan since 1959, and is comprised of young instrumentalists and committed parent volunteers under the supervision and instruction of professional conductors. Practices are Saturday mornings at Madonna University, and we present two concerts a year. We are always seeking young musicians to play in our Beginner Strings, Simply Strings, and Philharmonic (full orchestra) program. The Philharmonic is appropriate for middle school and high school or college musicians (as well as adult mentors).
